Pneumatic Counter.

This project was based on recreating a current design at a cheaper cost. We needed a product that was strong could be secured via chain/lock and most importantly waterproof. 

Once a car drives over the tube layed on the road the compression causes the diaphragm inside to move. Attached to this is a piezo switch which in turn counts the cars. The LED was installed to show that it is reading correctly for ourselves in testing and users in the field.
